City of Norwich Aviation Museum

City of Norwich Aviation Museum is a volunteer-run charitable museum at the former RAF Horsham St Faith site beside Norwich Airport, preserving Norfolk’s aviation heritage. Nearly 30 outdoor aircraft and cockpit sections are complemented by indoor displays including an RAF 100 Group Room, United States Army 8th Air Force collection and local aviation interpretation. Volunteers maintain the Avro Vulcan bomber, Hawker Siddeley Nimrod and Avro RJ85 for supervised access when staffing and weather permit, while group and school visits add guided interpretation and learning activities. Summer visitor hours listed by the operator are Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–17:00, closed Monday; last admission is one hour before closing. Admission is £10 for adults, £8 for concessions, £5 for children aged 6–16, free for children under 5, and £28 for a family ticket; advance purchase is optional and tickets are also sold at the museum. The museum offers free visitor parking, toilets including accessible and baby-change facilities, accessible parking beside the entrance and drop-off access. Outdoor surfaces include gravel and grass; aircraft interiors have separate ladders or steps and are not wheelchair-accessible, and aircraft access depends on staffing, weather and advance arrangements.
