Clewiston Ground Station is SSC Space’s operational satellite ground station near Clewiston, Florida. Its 7.3-metre antenna provides telemetry, tracking and command plus payload-data downlink, with S-band uplink and dual X-band downlink; SSC also identifies an operational office for system electronics and data processing and space to host customer antennas. The station’s low-latitude position is useful for low-inclination and equatorial-orbit spacecraft, especially Earth-observation missions, and it complements SSC’s South Point Ground Station for this coverage role. SSC documents UPS and diesel backup power. This is controlled commercial communications infrastructure rather than a public visitor destination: SSC publishes no routine walk-in programme, so arrange access with the operator and verify current local permissions before field planning. Coordinates follow SSC’s published operational site reference and are not an antenna-level survey claim.
