Delta-09 Missile Silo

Delta-09 Missile Silo is a preserved Minuteman launch facility where visitors can enter the fenced compound and look through a glass enclosure into the launch tube at a deactivated Minuteman II training missile. Outdoor interpretation and a self-guided audio tour explain the silo's technology, dispersed missile-field operation, and Cold War deterrence role.
