Eastchurch Aviation Museum

Eastchurch Aviation Museum preserves the Isle of Sheppey site where early British aviation, Short Brothers aircraft work and naval flying developed. Eastchurch was the first Aero Club of Great Britain airfield, a pioneering Royal Naval Air Service and Fleet Air Arm station, one of the first RAF stations and a centre for wartime aviation; the museum’s research and displays connect those milestones with the people and machines that made them possible. Its volunteer-run collection interprets pioneer flight, the RNAS and RAF story, local airfield history and the surviving hangar heritage, with aircraft imagery, artefacts and changing displays.
