Entoto Observatory and Research Center

Entoto Observatory and Research Center is Ethiopia's national optical astronomy facility and a bookable public astro-tourism destination on Mount Entoto. The Space Science and Geospatial Institute's current visitor service offers guided night-sky observations and educational experiences, requires a service agreement before access, and publishes a night-sky calendar for planning. The active campus also houses twin one-metre optical telescopes, astronomical instruments, an all-sky camera, weather station, and satellite operations infrastructure.
