ESTEC Test Centre

ESA's ESTEC Test Centre is a dedicated satellite environmental-testing complex at the European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, Netherlands. ESA describes it as Europe's largest centre of its kind and one of the world's largest, with linked facilities for vibration, acoustic, electromagnetic-compatibility, thermal-vacuum, space-simulation and related testing of spacecraft and components before launch. European Test Services operates it for ESA and also serves outside organisations. The campus is controlled rather than a walk-in attraction, but ESA provides a current immersive virtual tour and periodic public Open Days; confirm current registration and access arrangements before travel.
