ESA’s European Centre for Space Applications and Telecommunications (ECSAT) is based at Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire and supports secure connectivity, satellite telecommunications, Earth and climate applications, commercialisation, exploration, and space technology. It hosts ESA’s 5G/6G Hub and Moonlight programme, alongside the Climate Change Initiative, Spaceship ECSAT, and the Magali Vaissiere Conference Centre; an AI Hub for satellite-enabled connectivity is being developed. This is a working ESA campus rather than a general walk-in attraction, so confirm current access or event arrangements before visiting. ESA currently lists an ECSAT Open Day for 10 October 2026 at Harwell; ticketing and opening hours are still to be announced, so check the official event page before travelling.
