European Fighter Aircraft Museum

The European Fighter Aircraft Museum at Montélimar aerodrome is devoted to military-aviation history and technology, with European combat aircraft including fighters, trainers and helicopters, many described as often airworthy. The collection also includes engines, radar and weapons equipment, a transmissions museum, giant and miniature models, a DC-7 cockpit, a Caravelle and a restoration workshop; local tourism describes nearly 80 aircraft across about 25,000 square metres, including 5,000 square metres of covered space. Official visitor guidance lists seasonal hours: November–February weekdays 09:00–12:00 and 13:30–17:00, weekends/holidays 14:00–17:00; March–June and September–October weekdays 09:00–12:00 and 13:30–17:30, weekends/holidays 14:00–18:30; July–August weekdays 09:00–18:30 and weekends/holidays 14:00–18:30. It closes December 25 and January 1, with ticket sales ending 45 minutes before closing. Admission is €10 ages 13+, €7 ages 7–12 and free under age 7.
