The Evgeni Kharadze Georgian National Astrophysical Observatory is an active research campus and public astrotour destination on Mount Kanobili above Abastumani. Its 2026 daytime tour combines the observatory's demonstration hall, Georgian astronomy history, scientists' offices, the heritage-listed 40-centimetre refractor, and a popular-science lecture. Night tours add weather-dependent telescope observation of visible celestial objects, with published seasonal hours, prices, and Georgian- or English-language guiding.
