NOAA's Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS), also known as Gilmore Creek, is an operational satellite ground station at 1300 Eisele Road, north of Fairbanks, Alaska. NOAA describes 24/7 command, acquisition, maintenance and distribution of environmental-satellite data, supporting NOAA polar-orbiting spacecraft and other NASA, Department of Defense, USGS and international Earth-observation satellites. The Fairbanks site includes 26 m, 21 m, 13 m and smaller antenna systems across VHF, L, S, X and Ka bands, with additional geodetic and search-and-rescue equipment documented by NOAA. NASA lists FCDAS as a government Near Space Network ground-station asset in partnership with NOAA.
