Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium

Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium, operated by the University of Arizona in Tucson, combines hands-on science exhibits with the Eos Foundation Planetarium Theatre offering 4K fulldome shows, live star talks, laser-light music shows, and assistive listening technology. It is open to visitors Tuesday-Sunday, 10:00-17:00, and closed Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Planetarium show tickets include science-center exhibits and activities; buy online or in person, check public showtimes, and arrive at least 10 minutes early because shows start promptly, tickets are non-refundable, and late arrivals may be denied entry. Card/debit only; popular shows may sell out. Unaccompanied children under 16 are not allowed, and groups of 10 or more should book in advance. Exhibits are recommended for ages 6 and up. Flandrau has ramps, handrails, an elevator, wide level paths, accessible restrooms, dedicated wheelchair and companion seating in the planetarium, live captions for eligible shows, and audio aids at the front desk.
