Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum

Flight of the Phoenix Aviation Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit at Fox Stephens Field in Gilmer, preserving East Texas aviation through historic aircraft, veteran stories, aviation education and hands-on programs. Its collection and displays include the Screaming Eagle T-6 Texan, PT-17 Stearman, T-37B, Aero Commander U-4B, Piper Cub, Tiger Moth, Twin Beech, Link Trainer and resources dedicated to the Cessna T-50/UC-78 Bamboo Bomber. The museum publishes weekday visitor access from 10:00 to 16:00; flight experiences and group or school visits require current operator arrangements.
