Flyhistorisk Museum Sola

Flyhistorisk Museum Sola is a Jærmuseet aviation museum in the former German-built Second World War seaplane hangar at Stavanger Airport, Sola. Its collection spans more than 30 civil and military aircraft and helicopters, including rare surviving Caproni Ca. 310 and Heinkel He 115 examples, Norwegian fighter aircraft from the Cold War, Second World War aviation and a separate torpedo-workshop history exhibition. The museum’s café and viewing area overlook Sola Airport, and the operator offers group visits by arrangement. All exhibitions are on ground level in spacious rooms with a ground-level entrance; free parking and a bus stop about 900 metres away support visits.
