Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum preserves the aviation history of the U.S. Marine Corps, honoring its people and service. The museum’s collection includes more than 40 historic aircraft, but it is currently closed to the public while aircraft and artifacts are restored during the move to Irvine. Restoration work is taking place at Hangar 297, 8065 Marine Way, Irvine, and the operator says the new Great Park museum is under construction following a 2026 groundbreaking; regular visitor hours have not been published. Follow the operator for reopening and access updates before travel.
