Gemini North Hilo Base Facility

Gemini North Hilo Base Facility is the sea-level operations and engineering base for the International Gemini Observatory's northern telescope. Free pre-booked public tours on the second Friday of each month introduce the facility in its lobby, enter the remote observing room used for telescope operations, explain Gemini, Maunakea, and NOIRLab science and technology, and conclude with a building walk and weather-dependent Moon observing.
