General Bradley and Zita Hosmer Visitor Center

The General Bradley and Zita Hosmer Visitor Center is the U.S. Air Force Academy’s 34,000-square-foot public gateway just outside the North Gate at 13303 True North Road, near I-25 exit 156. Opened in 2026, it is free, has onsite parking, and requires no base access or military ID; seven themed galleries, interactive exhibits, immersive soundscapes, Air Force and Space Force core values, cadet-life interpretation and a 108-foot grand atrium introduce the Academy experience. The center is open daily 09:00–17:00 and closed on federal holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Access to the wider Academy remains restricted: non-DoD visitors must request a base pass, complete the security review and bring a REAL ID if approved.
