Ghana Armed Forces Museum

Ghana Armed Forces Museum at historic Kumasi Fort/Uaddara Barracks is one of Ghana few military museums, tracing the Gold Coast Regiment and Ghana Armed Forces through the colonial and modern periods. Its collection includes aviation hardware and anti-aircraft guns alongside armoured cars, weapons, colours, medals, photographs and portraits; the fort and museum connect military objects with the history of the Asante rebellion and Ghanaian service. The Ghana Museums and Monuments Board publishes public hours Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, excluding Sundays and public holidays, with guided tours; barracks security and current visitor arrangements should be confirmed before travel.
