Ghana Planetarium

Ghana Planetarium was Accra’s public astronomy-education destination, founded in 2009 with a 9.14-metre dome seating about 50–60 adults (up to 80 children) and full-dome programmes on the Solar System, planets, galaxies, light and the wider universe. The former Cantonments site at 12 Osu Avenue Extension is currently closed following a 2023 land-ownership change; the operator’s website still carries legacy booking and visit copy, but no current reopening or relocation is published. This point marks the former site; verify any future move and visitor access with the operator before travel.
