Grimes Flying Lab Museum

Grimes Flying Lab Museum is a nonprofit aviation-heritage museum at historic Grimes Field in Urbana, Ohio, preserving Warren G. Grimes’s work that helped make night flight safer. Its central artifact is the Beech aircraft that served as Grimes’s Flying Lab, a former U.S. Air Force C-45H used to test exterior aircraft lighting in flight; displays also interpret Grimes Manufacturing’s lights and equipment and the local aerospace legacy that continues through today’s aviation-lighting industry.
