Harry Bayley Observatory

Harry Bayley Observatory is Barbados's public astronomy centre and the home of the Barbados Astronomical Society. Opened in 1963 and refurbished in 2013–14, it is equipped with a 16-inch Meade telescope and an 80-millimetre Lunt solar telescope. Weather permitting, the observatory welcomes residents and visitors for Friday-night presentations and telescope viewing, while schools and other groups can book guided tours, educational presentations, and observing sessions.
