HARS Aviation Museum

HARS Aviation Museum at Shellharbour Airport (YSHL) in Albion Park Rail is an all-volunteer Historical Aircraft Restoration Society destination preserving significant Australian civil and military aviation. HARS was formed in 1979, and its mission is to recover and, where possible, restore historically significant aircraft to flying condition. The collection includes the Lockheed Super Constellation, Boeing 747-400 City of Canberra, Qantas Boeing 707, F-111C, Southern Cross II, DC-3 and DC-4, Catalina, Caribou, Sabre and Tiger Moth. The Albion Park museum offers guided tours Monday–Sunday from 09:30–15:30, with the last tour starting at 14:00; it closes on Christmas Day and Airshow Days. Walk-ins are accepted and online booking is encouraged; groups of 10 or more must pre-book so volunteer guides can be scheduled. The operator currently lists Museum Only admission at A$35 for adults, A$15 for children, A$30 for concessions and A$80 for families. Active working hangars require visitors to remain escorted. Albion Park Rail station is about a 10–15 minute walk from the museum, and road directions are provided by the operator.
