The Helicopter Museum

The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare, England, is a charitable museum preserving the world’s largest dedicated collection of helicopters and autogyros, with more than 100 rotary-wing aircraft spanning civil and military history. Highlights include two Queen’s Royal Flight helicopters, the G-LYNX world-speed-record holder, a Vietnam veteran Huey and a Russian Hind. The all-weather visit also includes the Weston Heritage Hangar with Weston-built Sycamore and Belvedere helicopters, the Weston Aviation Exhibition in a restored Second World War pilots’ block, volunteer conservation, open-cockpit days and air-experience flights.
