Historical-Technical Museum Peenemünde

Historical-Technical Museum Peenemünde is a public museum at the former Peenemünde Army Research Centre and Luftwaffe test site on Usedom, the place where the A4/V-2 rocket and Fi 103/V-1 cruise missile were developed and tested. Housed in the former power station, a major surviving technical monument, the museum uses documents, original parts, testimony, films and models to explain the path from early rocketry through military weapons development, forced labor and wartime use, and the later Cold War and civilian spaceflight.
