Hong Kong Space Museum

Hong Kong Space Museum, operated by Hong Kong’s Leisure and Cultural Services Department at 10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, is a public astronomy and space-science museum with exhibition halls and the Space Theatre. It presents astronomy, space exploration, interactive exhibits, sky shows and OMNIMAX/3D programmes, with guided interpretation and school or group options. Current visitor hours are Monday and Wednesday–Friday 13:00–21:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 10:00–21:00; it closes Tuesdays except public holidays and the first two Chinese New Year days, and closes at 17:00 on Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year’s Eve. Exhibition Hall admission is HK$10 standard, HK$5 concession and HK$7 for groups of 20 or more; admission is free on Wednesdays and for children under four with an adult ticket, full-time students and valid Museum Pass holders. Space Theatre tickets are separate; advance booking up to one week is available. Typhoon and rainstorm warnings can close or alter service, so check the official schedule before travel.
