Inuvik Ground Station

SSC Space’s Inuvik Ground Station is an operational commercial satellite ground station in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada, also referred to in SSC material as the Inuvik Satellite Station Facility. It houses multiple 7.3- to 13.5-metre antennas for telemetry, tracking and command and data downlink, supports S-, X- and Ka-band services plus 4-metre S/X antennas, and has UPS and diesel power backup. SSC says its Arctic position allows reception of all passes of polar-orbiting satellites; through the Kinuvik concept, Inuvik is combined with SSC’s Kiruna station in Sweden for contact opportunities on every orbit, longer passes, redundancy and high-capacity LEO data access. SSC lists LEOP, Go, Plus and Hosting services.
