ISRO AGEOS Antarctica Ground Station

ISRO’s Antarctica Ground Station for Earth Observation Satellites (AGEOS) is a satellite ground facility at India’s Bharati research station in Larsemann Hills, East Antarctica. It uses dual-band S/X and tri-band S/X/Ka antenna systems to receive Indian remote-sensing payload data and support telemetry and telecommand operations, transferring data to ISRO’s National Remote Sensing Centre in near real time. ISRO describes AGEOS as a continuously operated and maintained facility supporting high-latitude coverage for Indian Earth-observation satellites.
