Italian Air Force Historical Museum

On Lake Bracciano’s former Vigna di Valle seaplane base, the Italian Air Force Historical Museum preserves the places, aircraft, and artefacts that trace Italian military aviation from its earliest experiments onward. The setting itself is part of the story: this was where Italy’s experimental aeronautical work first took flight.
