Italian Air Force Historical Museum

The Italian Air Force Historical Museum (MUSAM) at the historic Vigna di Valle seaplane base on Lake Bracciano traces Italian military aviation from pioneers, airships and early seaplanes through the world wars and modern era. Its route spans six exhibition pavilions, including five aircraft hangars and more than 16,000 square metres of covered space, with 80+ aircraft alongside engines, flight equipment, documents, uniforms, simulators and educational exhibits. The collection includes landmark Italian seaplanes and racers such as the Macchi MC.72 alongside later military aircraft and helicopters.
