JAXA Nagoya Flight Research Center

JAXA Nagoya Flight Research Center at Prefectural Nagoya Airport is an operational flight-research base for high-speed and high-altitude flight demonstrations using the jet flying test bed “Hisho” and other research aircraft. Its facilities include a hangar for three aircraft, a Flight Experiment Control Room, Experiment Preparation Room, Collaborative Research Room and Flight Plan Room. JAXA’s current field-center directory marks the center “Visitors not accepted”; this is an operational research base, not a walk-in public attraction.
