Karaganda Aviation and Cosmonautics Museum

Karaganda's Aviation and Cosmonautics Museum is a school-based collection in the current premises of Comprehensive School No. 6. The regional government describes the operating museum's 2,000-plus aviation and space exhibits, including material on Kazakhstan's cosmonauts, aircraft and spacecraft models, flight documents, spacesuits, photographs, and memorabilia. The museum's curator organizes excursions, meetings, conferences, and classes; visits are arranged through the school and museum rather than presented as unscheduled walk-in hours.
