Kelch Aviation Museum

Kelch Aviation Museum at Brodhead Airport in southern Wisconsin preserves the Golden Age of Aviation, telling how interwar record-breakers, barnstormers, airmail pilots and home-built aircraft helped turn flight into an industry. The nonprofit museum’s grand opening was July 23, 2021. Its collection includes 19 vintage aircraft, three vintage automobiles, 10,000 aviation books, 12 original aircraft engines, photographs, models, works of art and hands-on exhibits. The operator currently lists public hours Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–16:00, closed Monday and Tuesday; admission is free, and larger groups requesting a guided tour should call for an appointment.
