King Shaka International Airport is a civil aviation gateway serving Durban and KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It began passenger operations on 1 May 2010 and is one of the three international gateways in Airports Company South Africa's airport network. The site provides a useful reference for studying airport infrastructure, passenger operations and regional air connectivity. The map point identifies the terminal entrance published by the airport, rather than an aeronautical reference point.
