Korea Deep Space Antenna (KDSA)

KARI’s Korea Deep Space Antenna (KDSA) is a 35 m S/X-band deep-space ground station in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do. KARI uses it for Danuri mission communications, including spacecraft status and command/telemetry operations, and for lunar and deep-space communications research. KARI describes precision pointing and autotracking, low-noise reception, a 10 kW-class high-power amplifier, remote status monitoring and web-based scheduling. The antenna is located at SK Broadband’s Yeoju Satellite Center.
