Landing Zone 1
Landing Zone 1 is SpaceX’s terrestrial Falcon booster landing facility at the former Launch Complex 13 within Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. It became the site of the first successful landing of an orbital-class rocket first stage when Falcon 9 booster B1019 returned after the ORBCOMM-2 mission on December 21, 2015 local time.
