Launch Complex 34 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is a decommissioned Saturn launch complex and National Historic Landmark. It hosted Saturn I and Saturn IB launches, including Apollo 7, and is the site of the January 27, 1967 Apollo 1 fire that killed Gus Grissom, Ed White and Roger Chaffee; only the launch platform remains, with memorial markers. It is not an active launch facility. Public visits are controlled: Space Launch Delta 45 lists LC-34 as an occasional stop on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station tours, but requests do not guarantee a visit and tours depend on resources and Department of Defense guidance; the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex also provides Apollo 1 tribute interpretation. Confirm tour availability, identity requirements and access before travel. Facility reference: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, United States.
