Liberty Aviation Museum is a 501(c)(3) working museum at Erie-Ottawa International Airport (Carl Keller Field) in Port Clinton, opened in July 2012. Its galleries, hangars, boathouse and restoration spaces preserve operational aviation, military and local history. Collection highlights include the 1928 Ford Tri-Motor “City of Wichita/City of Port Clinton,” WWII B-25 “Georgie’s Gal,” PBY-6A Catalina, TBM Avenger and Stearman PT-17, alongside aircraft and vehicle restoration, a Sherman tank, PT-boat restoration, WWII American and German vehicles, classic cars and vintage fire trucks. The working-museum setting supports educational and guided visitor experiences, and the operator states that the facility is on one level and handicap accessible.
