Lithuanian Aviation Museum in Kaunas is a Ministry of Culture institution at the historic S. Darius and S. Girėnas airfield, preserving Lithuania’s aviation and fire-rescue history through more than 24,000 objects, over 50 flying machines, indoor galleries, a 2-hectare outdoor field, historic aircraft, gliders, engines, photographs, models and the flyable Lituanica replica. The public experience includes the Flight Discovery Center’s flight simulators and education programmes; simulator access requires advance registration.
