Luftfahrt-Museum Laatzen-Hannover

Luftfahrt-Museum Laatzen-Hannover is a nonprofit aviation-history museum in the Hannover region, presenting a 3,500-square-metre collection in two halls. Its nearly 4,000 exhibits include about 35 complete aircraft, hundreds of aircraft models, more than 30 piston and jet engines, flight instruments, pilot clothing, books, documents and vehicles. Highlights include an original Royal Air Force Spitfire, the only Bf 109 G-2 displayed in a German museum, the first Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8 shown in Germany since 1945, a Ju 52 recovery story and an Alouette II cockpit experience. The permanent display traces aviation history from the 1783 Montgolfier balloon through modern aircraft; public access and current opening or accessibility arrangements follow operator guidance.
