Luftfahrtmuseum Wernigerode

Luftfahrtmuseum Wernigerode is a privately operated public aviation museum in four hangars at Gießerweg 1 in Wernigerode, Germany. Its collection spans more than 50 original aircraft and helicopters and over 2,000 aviation and technology exhibits, including a rooftop Transall C-160, early-flight and post-1945 aviation displays, jets, helicopters, cockpits, engines and ejection seats. Visitors can use free smartphone audio tours, book cockpit visits and fly Messerschmitt Bf 109 or Bell UH-1D simulators; the hangars are wheelchair accessible. The museum's current visitor page publishes daily 10:00–18:00 access, 16:30 last entry, €12 adult admission, free parking and guided-group booking, with closure on 24/25 December and 1 January.
