Luftfahrttechnisches Museum Rechlin

Luftfahrttechnisches Museum Rechlin is a volunteer nonprofit museum in the historic buildings of the Luftwaffe’s Rechlin test station, where aviation development from 1916 through 1945 shaped aircraft technology. Five exhibitions cover German Luftwaffe testing, postwar Soviet aviation, the Rechlin shipyard, NVA and Bundeswehr communications use, and local history, connecting aircraft and technical artefacts with the site’s changing military-industrial roles. The museum preserves and restores exhibits and archive material. The operator’s posted visitor schedule lists April-October daily 10:00-17:00 and February-March daily 10:00-16:00, with last entry one hour before closing; Easter opening is Friday-Monday 10:00-17:00. Groups can book guided tours, and dogs are allowed. Admission is 12 EUR for adults age 16+, 6 EUR for children ages 6-16, 30 EUR for a family ticket for two adults and up to five children, 10 EUR for visitors with severe disabilities, 2 EUR for dogs, and 11 EUR per adult for groups of at least ten; guided tours cost 50 EUR.
