Malta Aviation Museum

Malta Aviation Museum at Ta’ Qali, on the former RAF Ta’ Qali airfield, is operated by the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation, a volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 1994 to preserve Malta’s aviation history. Its two joined Romney huts, Air Battle of Malta Memorial Hangar and main exhibition hangar present aircraft, aero-engines, aviation vehicles, uniforms and memorabilia, with WWII interpretation, a Memorial Chapel, restoration projects and two loan wheelchairs. Public access is generally Monday–Saturday 09:00–17:00 and Sunday 09:00–12:00, with seasonal and holiday exceptions; check the operator’s current schedule and admission guidance before travel. Educational-group discounts and free visitor parking are available, and bus routes 56, 186 and 202 serve Ta’ Qali.
