McAllister Museum of Aviation

McAllister Museum of Aviation is a nonprofit Central Washington preservation and education museum in the original McAllister Flying Service hangar at Yakima’s McAllister Field. Its current public collection includes 55 displays, more than 10,000 aviation items, seven aircraft engines and two aircraft, with Charlie McAllister history, school programs, fly-ins, special events and a gift shop. Official visitor information lists self-guided public hours Thursday–Saturday 11:00–15:00, winter-weather closure cautions and docent/group tours by reservation at 2008 S 16th Avenue, Yakima, Washington 98903.
