Medicina Radio Observatory is an INAF radio astronomy site near Bologna, operating the Northern Cross array and a 32-metre dish for surveys, pulsars, spectroscopy, radar, and interferometry research. Public access is through the Marcello Ceccarelli Visitor Centre, which publishes selected opening dates and guided tours; the public tour starts at 15:00, lasts about 2.5 hours, includes the exhibition, a 3D film, and guided access to the antennas, and costs €5 (free for accompanied children up to 12).
