Mid America Museum of Aviation & Transportation is a nonprofit museum on the northeast corner of Sioux Gateway Airport, preserving Siouxland aviation and transportation history through authentic aircraft, transportation exhibits and education. Its visitor collection includes a Flight 232 exhibit interpreting United Flight 232’s 1989 Sioux City crash and recovery, a retired Boeing 727 adapted as a STEM learning center, and historic aircraft and vehicle displays.
