Midland Air Museum

Midland Air Museum is an independent self-funded aviation museum beside Coventry Airport, incorporating the Sir Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre and Wings Over Coventry gallery. Current exhibits interpret the development of jet-powered aircraft and Coventry and Warwickshire manufacturing, with aircraft such as SAAB J29 Tunnan, Dassault Mystere IVA, English Electric Lightning and McDonnell-Douglas F-4C Phantom II, plus historic aircraft, engines, missiles, cockpits, restoration projects, cafe and shop. The museum publishes daily access 10:00-17:00 April-October and 10:00-16:30 November-March; it closes 24-27 December. Day tickets do not require pre-booking: £11 adult 16+, £5.95 child 5-15, £10.25 student, £32 family, free under five. Free parking for up to 100 vehicles with disabled spaces, tea room and shop, and dogs on leads; cockpit access may depend on weather and volunteers.
