Midland Army Air Field Museum Hangar at Midland International Air & Space Port preserves the history of the Midland Army Air Field bombardier training school, one of the largest in the United States during World War II. Operated by the Commemorative Air Force’s High Sky Wing, the museum is developing its main-hangar galleries around Midland Army Air Field artifacts and West Texas’s WWII experience, alongside a collection of maintained aircraft and occasional aircraft-ride opportunities. The operator lists public hours Saturdays 10:00–15:00; group visits are by appointment. Admission and parking are free, and donations are welcomed. Gallery layouts may continue to change as exhibits are developed. Contact the High Sky Wing at 432-254-6182. Visitor address: 9600 Wright Drive, Midland, Texas 79706, United States.
