Midland International Air and Space Port

Midland International Air & Space Port is a commercial spaceport co-located with the City of Midland’s FAA Part 139 commercial airport and operated by the City of Midland, with the Midland Development Corporation marketing the Spaceport Business Park. The FAA lists its horizontal launch-site license LSO 14-015 through September 15, 2029. Current city and spaceport guidance says the spaceport subset is separate from the main terminal and ongoing commercial airport operations, with open land and airspace for aerospace and defense development. Current activity includes AST SpaceMobile satellite manufacturing and communications expansion, Starfighters International research, pilot training and spaceflight development, Firehawk hybrid rocket-engine testing, and Castelion hypersonic systems testing.
