Military Aviation Museum Zeltweg

Military Aviation Museum Zeltweg is the Museum of Military History’s public aviation branch in historic Hangar 8 at Hinterstoisser Air Base. More than 25 aircraft from Austrian military-aviation history are displayed across about 5,000 square metres, alongside aircraft and jet engines, radar and airspace-surveillance systems, simulators, anti-aircraft guns, air-force vehicles, uniforms, equipment, models, maps and photographs. Access runs through the base entrance gate, about 400 metres from the hangar; the operator describes the route as barrier-free and offers advance-bookable expert and educational visits.
