The Military History Museum at Berlin-Gatow Airfield is the Bundeswehr's aviation-history branch on a protected historic airfield, dedicated to the history of aerial warfare and German military aviation. Its open-air grounds and hangars present aircraft, helicopters, radar and air-defence systems spanning more than 120 years, while the current Zwischenlandung (Stopover) exhibition combines interactive displays, eyewitness history and a walk-in bunker. The museum is free to visit Tuesday–Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 to 18:00, with a free Sunday guided tour; a future redesign is planned while the current visitor operation remains open.
