Minuteman Missile National Historic Site Visitor Center

The Minuteman Missile National Historic Site Visitor Center is the National Park Service orientation and interpretation facility for the Cold War Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile system. Exhibits, the 30-minute Beneath the Plains park film, bookstore and ranger staff introduce visitors to the three-site park and its Delta-01 launch-control and Delta-09 missile-silo heritage; begin here before traveling the separate Interstate 90 sites. The current NPS visitor-center schedule lists summer hours of 08:00–16:00 daily and winter hours from September 7 through May 17 as Tuesday–Saturday 08:00–16:00, with Sunday/Monday closure and seasonal federal-holiday exceptions; weather or safety conditions can alter access. Entrance to the historic site and visitor center is free with no entrance pass required.
