Mississippi Armed Forces Museum

Mississippi Armed Forces Museum at historic Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center preserves and interprets Mississippi military service through aircraft, vehicles, weapons, uniforms, artifacts and personal stories spanning major U.S. conflicts. The outdoor Vehicle Park and Monument Row add close-up displays of more than a dozen aircraft, tanks and field artillery, plus the units that trained at Camp Shelby over the last century. The Camp Shelby museum opened to the public on October 27, 2001, combining holdings from the Mississippi War Memorial Museum and Camp Shelby Armed Forces Museum. Admission is free. The operator currently posts a temporary closure for maintenance and asks visitors to follow its social channels for reopening information.
